Funeral services for Raymond Hart were held on Friday, June 13, at 11 a.m. from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. David Kleinstuber, Methodist Clergy, of Norwich officiated. Ray’s wife Laura, his children Diane, Raymond (Duffy), Alison, Valerie, Doreen and Christine as well as other family members and friends spoke in remembrance of Ray’s life.
Interment with military rites followed in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with Rev. Kleinstuber offering the committal prayers. Members of local veterans organizations provided the military honors under the direction of Commander Ron Palmer. Members were Don Dibble, Sid Dunham, Dick Gage, Don LaFever, Warren Stone and Ron Palmer. Presenting the flag to Ray’s wife was Commander Ron Palmer who was a former employee of Hart’s Electric.
Serving as pall bearers were Raymond (Duffy) Hart, William Thompson, Raymond Stoquert, John Henley, Wayne Stoquert, Andrew Stoquert and Nathan Hart.
