KENNETH FOWLSTON
SHERBURNE – Kenneth F. “George” Fowlston, Jr., 55, of North Main St., passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
He was born July 1, 1958 in Norwich, a son of Kenneth, Sr. and Glenda E. Palmer Fowlston and received his education in Sherburne-Earlville schools. On February 14, 1980, Kenneth married Elissa Gager in Norwich. He was a mill operator at I.L. Richer Feeds in Sangerfield until 2008. He had also been a bus driver at one time. He enjoyed sports of all kinds and was an avid fan of high school wrestling, the Dallas Cowboys, the Boston Red Sox and NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Patriot Riders.
Surviving are his wife, Elissa; his children, Michael Danaher of FL; Todd Fowlston and his fiancée, Janelle Ogren of Sherburne; and Staci Fowlston of Sherburne; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Gina Merritt of Norwich; Linda McCracken of CO; Debra and Jack Harrington of Sherburne; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jason Fowlston of Earlville; James and Penny Gager of Sherburne; step-mother, Peggy Fowlston of Sherburne; step-father, Carl Voorhis of Norwich; grandchildren, Miles, Amaiah, Colin, Trace, and Braxton; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a grand-nephew, Brantley Voorhis Cook. He was predeceased by his father,
Kenneth Fowlston, Sr. and his mother, Glenda E. Voorhis.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, June 12, 2014 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
