A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Mary Santa Annesi, 102, of Norwich, NY at 10:00am on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church, Norwich. Fr. Lester Smith of St. Malachy’s Church, Sherburne was celebrant with Antoinette Perkins playing the organ. The gifts were presented by niece, Elaine Burton and nephew, Richard Lorimer, and a eulogy was delivered by Charles Neadom. The pall was placed on the casket by: daughter, Anita Mikkonen, brother, Anthony Magistro, Sr., nephew, Richard Lorimer and niece and god-child, Mary Neadom.
Following the Mass, interment took place at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Norwich. Pallbearers included: grandson, Brian Swift, grandson, vDavid Archambo, nephew, Richard Lorimer, nephew, Bob Magistro, nephew, Angelo Magistro and Edwin Cummings.
Services were under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney.
