Marsha F. Miner, 77, of Guilford, went into the home of the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Norwich Rehab and Nursing Center, with her family by her side. She was born January 23, 1937 daughter of Arthur Friend and Anna Yellen in Brooklyn. In 1956, she married David L. Miner Sr. who predeceased her.
Marsha will be remembered as a wonderful woman of God, who loved her church, and lived her life to serve the Lord. She is survived by her children, David Miner, Brenda Gatlin, Hal Miner, Rose Lindsey, Daniel Miner and Sarah Dickinson, several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held for Marsha on Thursday, May 29, at 4 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Norwich. Calling hours will be at Calvary Baptist from 3pm on Thursday until the time of service. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Afton at a later date.
