Tami A. Meyers, 55, of South Plymouth, passed away Thursday evening, May 1, 2014 at her home.
Tami was born on April 30, 1959 in Niskayuna, NY the daughter of Stanley and Pauline (Warner) Meyers. She moved with her family to the Norwich area where she attended and graduated form the Norwich High School in 1977. Tami furthered her education by attending Canandaigua Community College where she took courses in Psycology. In 1971 she moved to South Plymouth where she operated her own dog kennel and dog grooming business. She also had worked for Dr. Berkeley Briggs as a Veterinarian Technician.
On Dec. 24, 2004 she married Malcolm E. LoVette who passed away Dec. 31, 2004.
Tami is survivied by her daughter Kathryn LoVette and husband Chase of Norwich, her brothers Michael Meyers and wife Rosemarie and Peter Meyers all of South Plymouth. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Besides her husband Malcolm, Tami was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Pauline (Polly) Meyers and her sisters Floren Meyers and Dawn Rutherford.
A celebration of Tami’s life will be held on Wed. evening, May 7, from 7-9 p.m. at the home of her brother Peter Meyers, 265 Bates Wilson Road, South Plymouth, NY.
