Over the years Lee had been employed by Nor-Man-Co., Norwich Aero and Ameritec, but for most of his life he was a self-employed engineer. A very creative and industrious individual, Lee desinged and built many types of equipment and machinery which are in operation today all over the country. One of his many designs was the “wrapping machine” which today is the machine that wraps our local Pennysaver in its plastic covering.
Lee became involved in snowmobiling in 1965. He started the original snowmobile club in the area, Snowtrails Limited, which went on to become Chenango Snow Riders. Serving as Past President of the NYSSA, New York State Snowmobile Associaiton, from 1983-1986, he was instrumental in getting legislation passed which was benificial to the sport and united all the NYS snowmobile groups together. He also served as the football programs Booster Club President in the late 1970’s and as the “game filmer” from 1989-1994. Lee later filmed for the Sherburne football program from 1996-2006.

He gathered interviews and registered over 260 veterans to the National WWII Memorial in Washington DC. He also created a Korean Memorial web page and worked to register several Korean Veterans to the Vets Home Memorial. He was very dedicated to serving the Veterans at theOxford Vets Home and made many life long friends.
