Wilma E. Cappadonia, 73, of Classic St., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 4, 1940 in Mt. Upton, NY, a daughter of the late Maynard and Mabel Townsend Gager and received her education in local schools. On June 13, 1972, Wilma married Jerry L. Cappadonia in Sherburne. Wilma was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose life was dedicated to her family. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry; a daughter, Theresa M. Brasiel of Hoover, AL; a sister-in-law, Peggy Fowlston of Sherburne; her beloved grandchildren, Nicole Taylor, Victoria Taylor, Shannon Chapman and John Hatton, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Drako, Khristina, Harmony, Ayden, Razlyn, Jason and Persaus; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Ellory, Maynard, Jr., Richard and Myron Gager; and sisters, Pearl Hitchcock and Esther Gager.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., which will be followed by a prayer service.
Interment will be in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Sherburne at a later date.
