Christopher Fuller


MT. UPTON – Christopher J. Fuller, 19, of Mt. Upton, passed away early Sunday morning, July 26, 2009, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Mt. Upton.
Chris was born in May of 1990 in Norwich, the son of Michael J. Fuller and Debra Along Fuller-Shimer. He grew up in the Mt. Upton and Norwich area, had attended both the Norwich and Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Schools and was a graduate of the Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton High School. While in high school, Chris had attended BOCES where he was enrolled in their conservation program and following his graduation attended Mohawk Valley Community College for a short period of time. Chris was currently employed by Fuller-Paving of Mt. Upton where he has worked for the past two years.
Chris was an individual who enjoyed joking around, was voted his class clown and wanted to be everybody’s buddy. Some of his favorite sayings were “all will be alright in the morning,” “sorry all about it” and “have you ever.” He truly enjoyed working at his job and was happiest operating heavy equipment.
Chris is survived by his mom and step-dad, Debra Fuller-Shimer and James Shimer of Norwich, his dad Michael Fuller and companion Maggie Brown of Mt. Upton, his step-mom Brenda Friedel and John Kostun of Mt. Upton and his girlfriend Ashley Osborne. Also surviving is his sister, Rebecca Fuller, of Mt. Upton, his brothers Devin Fuller of Mt. Upton and Brandon and Tyler Shimer of Norwich, his grandparents Carol Pope of Frewsburg, Theodore Along of Annapolis, Md. and Richard and Charlotte Fuller of Mt. Upton. Chris was also very close to his Uncle Tom and his family along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Chris will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery of Mt. Upton.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home in Norwich on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m.
