SHERR’EE JENNINGS
NORWICH – Sherr’ee Jennings, 41 (formerly Sherr’ee Connelly) passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Sherr’ee was born on February 5, 1973 daughter of Patricia (Ford) and Gary Connelly in Mechanicville. She was married to Terry Jennings on December 31, 2004 in Mechanicville.
Sherr’ee attended high school in Mechanicville and later studied at Mildred Ellery College in Albany. Sherr’ee was a kind and loving wife and mother, she was well liked by those that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family at the lake. Sherr’ee enjoyed working with people and valued the relationships she had formed with co-workers at Lok n Logs in Sherburne and later through her work at Manpower in Norwich. Sherr’ee handled her long illness with beauty and grace, demonstrating her strength and never lost faith. Her love for people and courageous spirit will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Sherr’ee is survived by her parents Gary and Patricia of Mechanicville, her husband Terry Jennings of Norwich, their sons, Scott Cihocki of Norwich, Eric and Heather Jennings of Norwich daughter, Catherine Jennings of Norwich, brother Jeremy Connelly and his significant other Camilla of Mechanicville, granddaughter, Hailey, a sister in law Cindy Wagner of Virginia, mother- in- law Marion Jennings of Norwich, aunts and uncles, Rick and Susan Geiss, Joanne Reilly and, Mike and Cindy Miller, grandmother Leila Connelly and many nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Reese, Pastor officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of service on Monday. Interment will be held later at Fairview Cemetery in New Berlin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
