Lanie L. Clark, 60, of River Rd., Hamilton, NY, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
She was born May 7, 1953 in Greene, NY a daughter of Gilbert L. and Ann Masker Clark and received her education in local schools. Lanie was a homemaker who was an amazing cook and baker. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles.
Given her nurturing spirit, Lanie very much enjoyed the company of family and friends. No stranger to work, she was an avid gardener and would often can and preserve her harvests in the fall.
Surviving are her children, Karen Seymour of IN; Jody (William) Fancher of Jefferson, NY; Andrea (Jeffery) Wetzel Havener, and Jaimie Kramer, all of Hamilton; Tricia Johnson of Adams; step-children, Matthew White of Norwich and April White of Hubbardsville; sisters, Margaret (Herb) Warren of IL; Paityn Smith of IN; Sharlie Clark of Cazenovia and Kelly Clark of PA; brothers, Walter (Beverly) Clark of Sherburne; Abraham (Claire) Clark of WA; and Mike (Bonnie) Clark of Lebanon; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one soon to be born. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery at White Store Church.
