James F. "jake" Ambroziak


JAMES AMBROZIAK
SHERBURNE – James F. "Jake" Ambroziak, 81, of Sherburne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born in Coatesville, PA, on November 12, 1932, Jake was the son of Anthony and Sally (Gwardyak) Ambroziak. He enjoyed golfing and making repairs to anything that was broken, or simply tinkering with things in his garage and elsewhere. Jake was a machine operator at Downingtown Paper and Box, a maintenance worker for Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville, PA, and a machine operator at National Rolling Mill, Malvern, PA. He moved to Sherburne to live with his son and daughter. Jake was also a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Jake is survived by his children, Karen Gonzalez of Sherburne, Linda Young of Lancaster, PA, Vincent Ambroziak of Sherburne, Valeri (Matthew) Fagnani of Lancaster, PA, James D. (Robin) Ambroziak of Spring City, PA, Maia (Aaron) Holt of Enola, PA, David Boyer of Stevens, PA, and Bethani Chan of Auburn, PA; his grandchildren, Jason Smith, Amber Fryberger, Justin Smith, Chelsea Cunningham, Joshua Young, Keri Truxillo, Shayne Wilson, Aaron, Jeffrey and Nicholas Freysz, Terryn Fagnani, Timothy Ambroziak, Nora Chan, and Ashlynn Rhodes; and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived his brothers Raymond of Cincinnati, OH, and Charles of Coatesville, PA.
It was Jake's request that there be no formal funeral services.
