ARAMINTA E. BENEDICT
SHERBURNE – Araminta E. Benedict, 100, formerly of Sherburne NY and St. Cloud, FL, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Clinton, NY.
She was born September 7, 1913 in Highland, NY, a daughter of Arthur F. and Viola B. Eckert Nash and was raised in Earlville where she graduated from Earlville High School. She married John Clark who predeceased her, and later married Oliver Benedict. He also predeceased her in 1984. Araminta worked at the Technical Appliance Corp. in Sherburne until her retirement. She enjoyed doing word puzzles and playing the keyboard.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Art and Vicki Clark of Sherburne; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by two daughters, Ellinore Baxter and Vivian Keefer.
Graveside services in the Lebanon Valley Cemetery will be held at the convenience of her family in the spring.
