James H. Justice, Jr


James H. Justice, Jr., 69, of Sunrise Blvd, passed away December 2, 2013 surrounded by his family at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born September 21, 1944 in DeRuyter, NY, a son of James J., Sr., and Frieda Ryan Justice. He was a graduate of Otselic Valley Central School and CCBI in Syracuse. James served in the US. Navy from 1967 to 1971. On December 30, 1967, he married Sandra K. Baldwin in McDonough, NY. Jim was a department supervisor at Sheffield Products in Norwich for 28 years until his retirement. Affectionately known as “The Mayor of Sunrise Blvd.”, he spent many hours visiting with and helping his neighbors. He was a car buff and a member of the Eatonbrook Lake Assoc. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Norwich.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra; his children, Mark Justice and Brenda Liadka of Cicero; Stacey and Christopher Mussision, Kelly and Greg Isbell, all of Erieville; grandchildren, Jared and Jacob Justice, Brady and Alexander Mussision, Ethan and Lexi Isbell; sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Schell of Tampa, FL; Jane and Roger Rawson, DeRuyter; brother and sister-in-law, John and Stephanie Justice, Randleman, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton.
Spring interment with military honors will be in the Valley View Cemetery, South Otselic.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11am prior to the service.
