OXFORD – Phyllis (Deuel) Hemstrought of Tavares, Fla., formerly of Oxford, passed away July 9, 2009 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bruce Hemstrought.
Other survivors include daughter, Karen Hemstrought of Kittery, Maine; son Robert Hemstrought of Oxford; son Scott Hemstrought and wife Christine of Freeville; grandchildren Stacey, Jason, Brian Shetenholm and Courtney, Stephen & Zachary Hemstrought. Also, daughter-in-law Sharon Crandall of Oxford and a brother Donald Deuel and wife Esther of New Port Ritchey, Fla., a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Joyce Hemstrought of Norwich, along with several nieces and nephews.
A service will be in the future.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
