Stacie Kelly

On Nov. 18, 2013, Stacie Snow Kelly of Norwich lost her long fight with leukemia.
Born on March 20, 1958 here in Norwich, Stacie was the daughter of Wesley and Lorna Tillapaugh Snow. She attended school in Norwich until 1969 when her family moved to New Berlin where she graduated from the New Berlin High School in 1977. It was there that Stacie met and later married Chuck Kelly in 1984, her husband of 29 years. That same year they bought their one and only home here in Norwich where the family still resides today.
Stacie worked for a brief period at McDonalds and then spent 9 years working in the advertising department for Great American. Stacie gave birth to their first child in May of 1988. Early in the following spring she decided to leave the Great American and dedicate her life to making a home and raising her family. In February of 1993 she completed the family with their second child.
Stacie never missed an opportunity to make any occasion a special event for the kids and family. When she had a moment to herself, Stacie would love to read, spend time in the yard and gardens and master new recipes that she found. There was never any idle time in her life, she filled everyday with some special project. She would always greet you with a pleasant smile and warm jester. Stacie was commonly seen walking the streets of Norwich with her old friend Chase (pet of 11 years) and more recently with Roxie, a pet for the last 1 1/2 years.
Stacie is survived by her husband Chuck Kelly of Norwich, daughter and son, Caitlin of Charlotte, NC and Jacob, a 3 year student at SUNY Cortland, Roxie her dog, her mother Lorna Tillapaugh Snow of Norwich, brothers Zack Snow of Hamilton and Bret Snow of Christchurch, New Zealand., along with many great friends.
Stacie was predeceased by her father Wesley Snow and her younger sister Susan Snow and Chase.
