James H. Mullenax, Jr.


James H. Mullenax, Jr., 46, of Harris Rd., passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born September 9, 1967 in Norwich, a son of James H., Sr. and Geneva Muller Mullenax and was a graduate of Hamilton High School. Jim was a groundskeeper at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich, and had also been a farmer at one time. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and horses.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn L. Guernsey; his parents, Geneva and Robert Schultz of Earlville; his children, Matthew J. Mullenax of New Berlin; Heather D. Stagaman of Earlville; Trey T. Stagaman of Sherburne; Logan S. Mullenax and Cole R. Mullenax, both of Earlville; his siblings, Eva and Mark Duncan, Janet and Joe Mishkofski, all of VA; Denise and James Wilson of Munnsville; Doreen and Jeff Harris of Sherburne; Laurel Furner and Rudy Emmons of Hubbardsville; Tammy and Bob Kane of Sherburne; Melissa Schultz and Michael Fetzko of Earlville; Bobbi Jo Schultz and Don Lawrence of Westmoreland; Jamie and Richard Pudge of CA; Jeff and Amanda Schultz of GA; Joseph and Lorrie Mullenax of Sherburne. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James H. Mullenax, Sr.; brothers, Robert Schultz, Jr., Victor, Michael and Bruce Mullenax; and a sister, Rebecca Mullenax.
Services will be held at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville at 8pm Thursday, November 21, 2013.
Friends are invited to call at the on Thursday, from 5-8 p.m.
Interment will be at the convenience of his family in the Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville.
