GUILFORD – Louis R. Wilcox, 78, of Guilford, passed away on June 19, 2009 at his home. 
He was born on Jan. 20, 1931 in Mexico, N.Y., a son of the late Roy and Leah (Smith) Wilcox.
He is survived by his children, Dan and Nancy Wilcox of Guilford, Mike Wilcox of Guilford, Lon Wilcox of Oxford and Darrell Wilcox of Pennsylvania. Twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild survive as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was a dairy farmer his entire life. He was a member of the Mt. Upton Lions Club, and the DCMO BOCES Board. He was very active in Boy Scouts, enjoying camping and attending jamborees.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford with the Rev. Paul Amara, pastor of the Guilford United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Monday from 7-9 p.m.
