Justin Stone


SOUTH PLYMOUTH – Justin O. Stone, 37, of South Plymouth, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 23, 2009, at his home.
Born in Norwich in August of 1971, Justin was the son of Frederick and Linda Law Stone Sr. Growing up in the Norwich and South Plymouth area, he attended the Norwich schools. Justin worked for a time in the maintenance departments of the Chenango Memorial Hospital and the Norwich City School System before beginning his own business, Stone Sanitation. He was a fellow who liked to pick on people and pull pranks, loved hunting, was a fan of stock cars, demolition derbies, and ATVs, and enjoyed camping.
Justin is survived by his parents, Frederick and Linda Stone Sr. of South Plymouth; by his children: Shelby, Devin and Nicholas Stone, all of South Plymouth; and his stepson, Michael Miles of Norwich; his sisters,. Sherry Wellman and husband John of Norwich, and Penny Stone and companion Joe Theut of South Plymouth; and his brothers: Sheridan Stone and wife Madeline of South Plymouth, Frederick “Skip” Stone and wife Cathy of Sherburne and William Gray and companion Tonya Dibble of Otselic. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive, along with Justin’s best friend, Shawn Cummings and wife Deann of Norwich, and Justin’s “other mother,” Joan Burch of Norwich.
Funeral services for Justin will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be in Deer Pond Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
