NORWICH – Shirley A. Cole, 71, of Norwich, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009.
Shirley was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on November 12, 1937 to Harold and Marian (Valimont) Hawley. On May 1, 1954, Shirley was married to Lee Cole, Jr., who preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1996.
A devoted mother to her family, Shirley is survived by her two daughters and two sons, Linda Grant of Pittsfield, Pat Perry of Norwich, David Cole of Norwich and Sean Cole of New Berlin. Fourteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren also survive. Shirley also has a brother and sister, Ray Hawley and Barbara Crowner.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in New Berlin.
