NORWICH – Funeral services for Dewitt Cox were held on Tuesday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. David Blackman, Pastor of the Currituck Charge United Methodist Church in Grandy, NC, officiated. Several of Dewitt’s family members and friends spoke in remembrance.
Burial followed the service in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Rev. Blackman offering the committal prayers. The casket bearers were David Cox, Danny Madison, Milt Shefler, Jim Winners, Doug Marvin and Don Maynard.
