GEORGETOWN – Elizabeth M. “Betty” Ludlow, 76, of Grandview Dr., formerly of Georgetown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006 at her home in Danbury, Conn.

She had also worked for H&R Block for several years. A love of camping took the couple to Georgetown, where they decided to make their second home. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law: Holly Dobson, Lori and Chris Marquard, all of Otselic; three grandchildren, Rachel and Andrew Dobson and Christopher Marquard, all of Otselic; a brother, Dr. Owen Macken of Hollywood, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Edith Greenwald predeceased her in February 2006.

A memorial service will also be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, from the King Street United Church of Christ, 201 S. King St., Danbury, Conn.
