NORTH NORWICH – Joanne Revette, 67, of North Norwich, loving mother and grandmother, passed away late Thursday night, Feb. 26, 2009, at her home.
The daughter of Frederick and Evelyn Allen Day, Joanne was born in Syracuse in April of 1941. She grew up in Fabius, where she attended the local schools. Following her marriage, Joanne became a stay-at-home mom who devoted herself to the care and well-being of her family.
Joanne is survived by her children and their spouses: Thomas and Laura Revette of North Norwich, Andrew Revette of Otselic, Bonnie and John Killian of Baldwinsville, Holly Revette of North Norwich, and Robert and Kelly Revette of Smyrna; and her grandchildren: Adam and Ashley Revette, Aaron Post, Amanda Bennett and husband Jeremiah, Michael Dennis, and Derick and Taylor Revette. She is also survived by her sisters and their spouses: Susan Day of Manlius, Patricia and Bill Haitian of Georgetown, Deanna and Ed Nash of Tully, Barbara and Jim Thrasher of LaFayette, Sharon Lorrows of Tully; by her brother, Bud Day of Fabius; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Joanne will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home of Norwich. The Rev. Joseph Acanfora of Gilbertsville will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the North Norwich Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
