NORWICH – Lorraine Ruth Westover, 86, of Newtown, Pa., died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006.
She was born in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Jan. 11, 1920 and married Maurice A. Westover on May 5, 1945. She owned and operated Lorraine’s Beauty Shop in her home at 93 Plymouth St., Norwich, for more than 45 years until she moved in May, 2004 to Friend’s Village in Newtown, Pa.
Lorraine is survived by her sister Delores and Ted Pidde; children Rick and Patsy Westover, Stan and Joanne Westover, Cherie and Kevin Joy; grandchildren Matt, Chris, Brad, John and Josh; other close family friends Tracy, Calvin, Jennifer, Liam, Scarlett; and great grandchild Zachary.
Interment at a future date at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Norwich.
