NEW BERLIN – Helen Marie McDonald, 75, of New Berlin, passed away Feb. 13, 2009 at her home in New Berlin.
She was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Sherburne, the daughter of Donald and Ida Mae (Hall) Russell. She was married to Clarence McDonald who passed away in 2007. She was a life long area resident and had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina, Florida, Bassett Hospital and Chase Nursing Home. She attended church in both South Edmeston and New Berlin. She is survived by her children, Peggy Stringham, Joan Anderson and Mike Joslin.
Helen is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and sisters and a special friend, Bandit. She was predeceased by a son Jeff Joslin and 2 brothers, Norman and Marvin.
