NORWICH – Frances C. Hults, 69, of Norwich, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital of Norwich.
The daughter of William and Frances Rutto Brower, Frances was born in April of 1939 in East Meadow. She moved to the Norwich area from South Carolina in April 2004.
Frances was a very simple woman who loved spiritual music, dancing, playing cards and having her children and grandchildren around her.
Frances is survived by her children; Francesca Hults of Schenectady, Cora Ann Hults of Center Ridge, Lois Ann Closs of Norwich, Patricia Ann Kunkel of Long Island and LaRue Hults of Norwich, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her sister Patricia Agnew of South Carolina and brother Arthur Brown of Norwich.
Frances was predeceased by her brother Harold.
A funeral service for Frances was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis McKenna, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Norwich, officiated.
Interment will be in the Long Island National Cemetery.
