UNADILLA – Arlene M. Kiff, 81, of Unadilla passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2009. 
She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Helen Church, her husband of 24 years, Carlton LaSalle Kiff, and four brothers, Gerald, Clyde, Neil, and Lyle Church.  She is survived by two brothers, Hubert (Ruby) Church, Earlville and Cecil (Irene) Church, Lansdale, Pa.; her daughter and son-in-law Lucille (Bruce) Markert, Jacksonville, Fla., her son and daughter-in-law Terry (Bridget) Kiff, Sidney, and son James, Unadilla; five grandchildren, Megan Hartley and Scott and Andrew Markert, Jacksonville, Fla., and Tatum and Wyatt Kiff, Sidney and one great grandchild, Ryan Hartley, Jacksonville, Fla. 
Arlene was employed by The Hospital in Sidney for 15 years. She was a housewife and mother who took great pride in caring for her kids, and was always there for anyone. She enjoyed life and always greeted people with a smile.  Warmest thanks to everyone who cared for her at the Chenango Memorial Hospital RHCF, 2nd floor West.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at C.H. Landers in Sidney.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at C.H. Landers in Sidney.
