NORWICH – Barbara A. Markham of Norwich passed away on Dec. 6, 2008 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Syracuse on March 14, 1922, she graduated from Central High School. She was predeceased by her husband, Clair A. Markham.
Barb spent her later years in Norwich, working for the Norwich School System. She is survived by four sons, Leonard Markham (Lynn), Craig Markham, Scott Markham (Michelle), James Markham (Donna) and three daughters, Sharon Warady (Tim), Carol Condon (Bob) and Maryann Wells (Doug) one sister, Jeanne Wagner, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be private and will be handled by the Fahy Funeral Home in Norwich.
