SHERBURNE – John F. Norton, 38, of North Main St., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Norwich on May 13, 1970 and was a graduate of Marlboro, MA High School. On Aug. 30, 2008, John married Heather A. Witt in Sherburne. He was a pressman for Kenyon Press in Sherburne for over 17 years. John’s greatest joy was his family. He spent many hours puttering in his garage and enjoyed riding four-wheelers.
Surviving is his wife, Heather; his mother, Maryann Fisher of Munnsville; his children, Jonathan Norton, Cody Norton, Amanda Risley, Tiffany Witt and Christina Davis, all of Sherburne, and Frank Davis of Homer; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sophie Hanstine of Deposit; Janet and Wayne Betsinger of Oneida; two brothers, Charlie Zbydniewski of Sherburne and Chester Norton of Colorado; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Fisher in 2004, and his grandmother, Sophie Zbydniewski in 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
