SMITHVILLE FLATS – Stuart L. Mohr, 79, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie L. Brooks; by parents, E.J. and Helen Mohr; brothers, Robert and Stanley; and by a sister, Lillian Boeltz. Stuart is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances; two sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Holly Mohr, and Stuart Mohr, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Mohr; son-in-law, Gary Brooks; three granddaughters, Gair and Kiley Brooks, Samatha Mohr; grandson, Kirk Mohr; great-grandson, Bryce Corbett; brother, Albert (Bud) Mohr; several nieces and nephews. Stuart was employed at G.L.F. for many years. He also worked as a Technician for many years at F&S and at Morabito from where he retired.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene. The Very Reverend Ralph E. Osborne, Rector of Zion Episcopal Church, Greene, officiationg. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Smithville Flats Fire Department, Smithville Flats, N.Y. 13841.
