NORWICH – Richard G. Kroeger, nearing completion of his 66th year, of Orono, MN died unexpectedly Nov. 8, 2008 of a heart attack while pheasant hunting in Windom, MN.
He is survived by wife, Amelia (Cole) brothers John & Bob; sons Bill, Clint & Erick; grandchildren Bill, Linda Knutson, Holly, Adam, Ericka, Kayla; great grandchildren Johnny & Joey Knutson; and a host of affectionate extended family.
Virtually everyone who knew Dick Kroeger respected his integrity; intelligence; optimism; physical and spiritual presence; keen wit; and deep commitment to help make this world a better place.
Dick attended South New Berlin Central School through 6th Grade in the 1950s and transferred to Norwich Central Schools for 7th – 12th.  In the 1970s, he worked for his father’s insurance agency Kroeger’s Insurance in Norwich.
Friends and relatives will be notified of a memorial celebrating Dick’s life.
