GREENE – Kenneth C. Horton, 78, passed away on Sept. 26, 2008 at the New York State Veterans’ Home, Oxford.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Rita Horton; and by two brothers, Harold and Carl; and by sister, Ella May. He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Peter Marshall, South Plymouth, and Betty and Robert Murdock, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Marie Horton, Norwich, Rose Horton Sherburne; several nieces and nephews.
Ken served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at the Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St., Greene, N.Y. 13778.
Friends of the family may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
