Jacquelyn Anderson


NORWICH – Jacquelyn A. Anderson, 58, of Kingston, and formerly of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at her home.
The daughter of Lyman O. and Margarete (Baranello) Anderson, Jacque was born in Norwich in October of 1949. She grew up in Norwich where she attended the Norwich High School, graduating with the class of 1967. She then attended Oneonta State to pursue a career in teaching, and later obtained her Master’s Degree. After relocating to Kingston, Jacque taught in the Kingston School System until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the NYS Retired Teacher’s Association.
Jacque is survived by her brother, L. Lane Anderson, his wife Rosemarie, and their children: Christina Anderson and fiancé Colin Bridges of Salisbury, Md., and Erica Dennis, her husband James, and their son Alexander James Dennis of Norwich. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, and her beloved Sheltie, Monte.
A memorial Mass for Jacque will be held at noon on Monday from St. Bartholomew’s Church. The Rev. Douglas Cunningham, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
