Ronald Frink Jr.

NORWICH – Ronald William Frink Jr., “Joe,” 37, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, Aug. 16, 2008 at his home.
The son of Ronald W. and Rita Ann (Manwarren) Frink Sr., Joe was born in Norwich in May of 1971, attended school for a time in Mt. Upton, and divided most of his years between New York State and South Carolina. In 2001, Joe moved back to the Norwich area, where he was employed by several different area businesses. An easy-going guy with a stubborn streak, Joe had a good sense of humor and the knack for remembering any joke or funny story he’d ever heard. He loved music and food, especially Italian, was a fan of NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, enjoyed watching the New York Giants football, and was an avid movie buff.
Joe is survived by his children, Kaitlyn Ann and Chas Michael Frink of Norwich; his father, Ronald W. Frink Sr.; his companion, Sabrina Oles of Norwich; and his sisters: Sandy Schutt and husband Steve of Beaver Meadow and Dee-Ann Granger and husband Don of Conway, S.C. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: David and Michelle Fitch, Melinda and Bryce Schutt, and Lucas, Curtis and Marcus Granger; and by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his mother, Rita Frink.
Funeral services for Joe will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Hinman, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the South Plymouth Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
