Beverley Mosher


NORWICH – Beverley B. Mosher, 74, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 1, 2006 in the Ideal Senior Living Center ofEndicott, after a brief illness.
Beverley graduated in 1950 from Sidney Central School and, in 1951, from the Albany Business College where she was a member of the Alpha Iota National Scholastic Sorority. She worked for the Dept. of Civil Service until her marriage to Russell Y. Mosher on Sept. 6, 1951. A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Captain John Harris Chapter of Norwich, Beverley was also a member of the United Church of Christ in Norwich. She was a caring mother and grandmother who always took time to listen and help her children, grandchildren, and friends. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Beverley is survived by her children and their spouses: Holiday M. and Daniel Learn, Sugar Run, PA; Russell J. and Patricia M. Mosher, Binghamton; Victoria L. Cathcart, Old Lyme, CT; by her aunt, Laura Bell Snowden of Sarasota, FL; by cousins Theodore and Sandy Anthony and children, Bethesda, MD; and William and Catherine Haight and children of Cortland. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jolene Davis, Montrose, PA, and Kristen and Drew Cathcart of Old Lyme, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Y. Mosher in 2000; by her brother, James H. Brady III; and her uncle, Robert T. Snowden.
Funeral services for Beverley will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, from the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Connolley, Pastor of the United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment services will be private. Friends are invited to call at the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Beverley's memory may be made to the Ideal Senior Living Center in care of the UHS Foundation, 10-42 Mitchell Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903; or to Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
