Allison Braman

NORWICH – Allison Marie Braman, born April 27, 2008, at 9:34 p.m. at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. - “and God brought me home May 3rd. I lacked 4 minutes of being 6 days old. My weight was a mere 15.5 ozs, and length 11 1/2”. The doctors said I wouldn’t last the night but, to their surprise while making rounds the next morning, I was thriving and kicking.
“My dad told me I came into this world moving 100 MPH. Nurse Tracey called me feisty, always kicking and letting everyone know I was around. My mom and dad’s touch was the best. I loved holding your finger, daddy. Mommy, wasn’t it great when dad sang to us? His voice was so soothing.
“My parents are Kyle and Katie Braman. Paternal grandparents are Deenna Stanton of Brisben and Charles Braman of Greene. Maternal grandparents are Preston and Gladys Branagan of Plymouth. My aunts are Rebecca Branagan, Ashlie Branagan, Sherri Stanton, Sunny Braman, and Renee Branagan. Uncles are Brad Branagan, Kale Webb, Woody, Tavish, and Shawn Braman; and cousin Jaron Hogancamp. My maternal great grandparents are Hester and Wallace Franklin, Gerald and Marie Branagan. Paternal great grandparents are Ward and Lois Stanton and Charles and Sandy Braman. I also have many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
“Clark, you are a wonderful Godfather. Thanks for being in my mom and dad’s life; you and your family helped them get through his time in Iraq. Allison, you touched my mom and dad. I’m glad we share the same name.
“Nana, great grandma Braman, and great grandpa Franklin, Andy and Rhonda were all waiting for me in heaven with lots of hugs, kisses, and love. God heard every prayer from each person that prayed for mom, dad, and me. Remember God is in complete control and He promises that we will be together again. God doesn’t cause bad things to happen; but He makes great things come out of these situations. I was only on earth 6 days, but I felt the love from so many - family, friends, and the staff at Crouse Hospital. The nurses are God’s hands on earth. Heather and Tracey especially.
“Remember the A*B*C to get into heaven - Admit - Believe - Commit. I’ll be waiting and watching over all of you.
“Mom and dad are having a private memorial service for me. Donations in my honor can be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the High Risk Pregnancy Maternity of Crouse Hospital, 736 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY.”
Love,
Allison Marie Braman
To Allison:
“You touched our lives. Your strength will never be forgotten by those who love you. We miss you!”
