Stuart J. Link Jr.


ROME – Stuart J. (“Sonny”) (“Stuey”) Link, Jr., 44, of Dix Road, formerly of Louisiana and Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.
He was born Oct. 23, 1963 in Denver, Colo., a son of Stuart L., Sr. and Carol Baker Link. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and went on to receive his certification as an auto body technician. He had worked for Barker’s Garage in North Norwich,  Hamilton Auto Clinic in Hamilton, and currently for Clinton Collision in Clinton.
Surviving are his mother, Carol D. Baker of Opelousas, La.; his father and step-mother,  Stuart J., Sr. and Nora Link, of Hubbardsville; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Julie Link of Opelousas, La., and their children Ali, Andre and Addison; his sister Jasmine Nichol of Orlando, Fla., and her children, Bryana, Ethan and Alexandra; a half-brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Terry Link of Haverhill, MA, and their children, Megan and Ryan; half-sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Thomas Zimmerman of Rochester, and their children, Jonathan and Christopher; half sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Michael Jordan of Earlville, and their children, Taylor, Michael and Lexie. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Donna and Jim Bronson of Vidor, Texas; Debbie and Dave Whaley of Smyrna, NY; Dolores and Ken Rodman of Earlville; Dorothy and Willard Fuller of Hamilton; Barbara Burgess of Unadilla Forks; Fred and Jeannie Link of Eaton; Ed and Carol Link of Cazenovia; Richard and Doris Hill of Hamilton; his grandparents, Lenora Powell of Sherburne and Walter Hill of Hamilton; as well as many cousins, several close friends and associates in the Clinton area.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Burial will be private.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
