Isabella Ebert


NORTH NORWICH – Isabella King Ebert, 86, formerly of North Norwich, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 26, 2006. Mrs. Ebert was a patient at Hospice Haven in Chiefland, Fla. 
Born in Forestburg on April 5, 1920, she was the daughter of Hector and Dorothy Brucher King. On Oct. 17, 1938, she was married to Albert Thomas Ebert in Port Jervis. Mrs. Ebert was a member of North Norwich Methodist Church, a member of the North Norwich Fire Department’s Auxiliary and also a fire policewoman while residing in New York State. She had also been a 4-H group leader and a Girl Scout troop leader. 
Mrs. Ebert is survived by two daughters; Nyla Lockwood of Chiefland, Florida and Carol Anne Ebert of Camano Island, Washington.  Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Albert, her son Keith and a daughter Patricia.   
Burial will be in the West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends wishing to remember Isabella are asked to send gifts to the North Norwich Methodist Church or North Norwich Fire Department in lieu of flowers. 
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
