NORWICH – Helen D. (Haggerty) Wellin passed away on April 24, 2006, at her home in Milwaukee, Wisc.
Born in Norwich on Nov. 25, 1926, the daughter of S. Robert and Lucy E. Haggerty, Helen was a graduate of Norwich High School and Syracuse University, and received a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Susan Costello of Las Vegas and Sara Allen of Boston; a son, Christopher Wellin of Oxford, Ohio; a sister, Grace Haggerty of Syracuse; and 12 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Norwich at 11 a.m. Friday.
