OXFORD – Jeanne Brooks Jorgensen of Oxford passed away on Jan. 14, 2008 at her home. 
She was born on Oct. 19, 1934 in Valley Stream, the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Dolan) Brooks. On Oct. 6, 1956 she married Thomas Jorgensen, who passed away on June 4, 1986.
She is survived by her children and their families, Donna and Eric Robb and children, Jessica and Todd St. Germain, and Jodi and Jonathan Carey; Neal and Michelle Jorgensen and children, Thomas and Michael Jorgensen and Sebastian, Amber and Angela Catanzaro; her sisters, Grand and Myron Hall of Valley Stream and Claire Bauer of Beaufort, S.C.  She was a special grandma to Noah, Dylan Marisa, Savannah, Michael and Sebastian. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive her.  She was predeceased by her son Guy T. Jorgensen.
She was raised in Valley Stream and moved to the Oxford area in 1976.  She had worked at the Raymond Corporation for many years. She was a member of Fort Hill Post 376 American Legion Auxiliary in Oxford and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Sidney.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Oxford. Recitation of The Rosary will be at 6 p.m. on Friday.
