NORWICH – Helen Sprague Blackman, 87, passed away Dec. 22, 2007 at her home in Florida.
Born in Sidney, Helen lived in Sherburne-Four Corners for over 20 years and in Norwich. She raised her family in Norwich and ran a daycare center where she lovingly tended two generations of Norwich children. She lived in Florida for over 20 years.
Helen will be greatly missed by her children: Joe of Lake Helen, Fla., Ed (& Norma) of Lake Helen, Fla. and Carol O’Neill (& Wade) of Camilus; her sister, Harriet Sage of Center Lovell, Maine; her grandchildren, Aaron Blackman (& Kamea Lesly), Jeffrey O’Neill (& Sara), and Kristy O’Neill Dafoe (& Mark); her great-grandchildren Zara and Enya Dafoe; nieces Janice Sage and Laurie Sprague; nephews Alan Sprague ( & Roberta) and Tim Sage (& Jill); several great nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Chris and Sam.
