NORWICH – Susan V. Kopec, 51, of Pratt Road, Norwich, formerly of New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2006 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. 
She was born on June 7, 1955 in Jersey City, N.J. the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Borstlop) Creighton. On July 1, 1999 in Bayonne, N.J., she married Thomas Kopec, who survives.
Besides her husband, Thomas of Norwich, she is survived by her children, Katie Kopec of Norwich, Jessica Farrington and Joel Farrington both of New Jersey and Thomas Kopec of Norwich; her granddaughter, Jocelyn Kopec; her mother, Mildred Creighton of Jersey City, N.J.; her brothers, David Creighton and Timothy Creighton both of New Jersey and her sister, Kathy Reinmuller of Michigan.
She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a licensed practical nurse and worked for Family Home Care after moving to Norwich.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at the New Durham Baptist Church, 4616 Tunley Ave., North Bergen, N.J. at 6 p.m.
