OXFORD – Myron A. Moors Jr. of Oxford passed away on Dec. 20, 2007 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. 
He was born on Nov. 16, 1924 in West Springfield, Mass., the son of the late Myron, Sr. and Jennie (Clark) Moors. On Feb. 28, 1947 he married June Root, who passed away on Aug. 25, 1998.
 He is survived by his children, Myron and Diane Moors of Whitney Point, Patrick and Linda Lewis-Moors of Norwich, Rosemary Moors and Ron Sorensen of Amsterdam; his daughter in law, Linda Moors of Binghamton; his sister, Ila and Richard Finch of Oxford; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael Moors on Jan. 11, 2006.
 Mike was veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II. He retired from General Telephone after working for Chenango and Unadilla Telephone Company and Continental Telephone Co. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports on television, especially the Boston Red Sox.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, followed by burial in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
 Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until the time of the service.
