NEW BERLIN – John Seulah Hulse Sr., 83, New Berlin, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 in New Berlin.
He was born July 22, 1924 in Hamptonburgh, the son of Seulah and Bessie (Philcox) Hulse. He spent his childhood in Campbell Hall. During his life he was employed as a farmer, school bus driver and truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
John is survived by his children: Sandy Hulse of Utica; Paul & Margaret Hulse of New Berlin; Susan & Ralph Bush of Brumley, Mo.; George & Maxine Hulse of Beverly Hills, Fla.; John & Deborah Hulse Jr. – Turkey, N.C.; and by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte & George Schadt of Warwick. He was predeceased by one sister and one brother – Bessie & Everett.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Dakin Funeral Home LP of New Berlin.
