NORWICH – Katherine (Rourke) McMillen, 92, of Sarosota, Fla. died on Oct.9, 2007 at her home.
Born on March 9, 1915, in Norwich, Katherine was the daughter of Patrick H. and Emma Rourke. She graduated from Norwich schools and Tusculum College. She married Phillip McMillen of Shadyside, Ohio. Katherine was an elementary school teacher in Shadyside.
Katherine was predeceased by her parents, husband, two brothers, John and George and four sisters, Amata, Helen, Marion and Emma. She is survived by four children Nancy Pruitt, Margaret Mouilleseaux, Patricia Moyers and Philip D. McMillen. Katherine is also survived by her sister, Martha Couch of 77 Chapel St. Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Funeral services were held in Sarosota, Fla., where Katherine resided for the last 25 years.
