NORWICH — St. Bartholomew’s Parish will host its 73rd annual spaghetti supper on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the St. Bartholomew’s Parish Center, located at 73 E. Main St. in Norwich.

A longstanding community tradition, the supper will feature the parish’s famous homemade meatballs and sauce, spaghetti, salad, Italian bread, lemonade and Gilligan’s ice cream for dessert.

This year’s event will include a special exhibit commemorating the 100th anniversary of the construction of St. Bartholomew’s Church. Visitors will have an opportunity to view historic photographs and memorabilia and learn more about the history of the church and its place in the Norwich community.

In honor of this special anniversary year, the supper will offer a special price of $12 per person. Meals for children ages 3 through 12 are $10, and children under age 3 eat free. Takeout meals will also be available.

Proceeds from the spaghetti supper will benefit the restoration of the St. Bartholomew’s Church signboard located at the corner of Silver Street and East Main Street.

Community members are invited to enjoy a homemade Italian meal, revisit a cherished local tradition and help support the preservation of a historic Norwich landmark.
