OTEGO — The Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team faced off against Unatego/Franklin on the road on Tuesday night. Oxford fell 5-1 against a tough Spartan Devils team that leads the MAC.

Jayne Fleury scored the only goal for the Blackhawks on a penalty kick.

“We had a lot of ball movement and chances to score in the second half,” Coach Rachel Seiler said. “ Unfortunately, we were unable to capitalize. The girls played hard throughout the whole game tonight.”

Oxford (4-4) hosts Greene on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
