NEW BERLIN — The Unadilla Valley/GMU girls’ soccer team hosted Bainbridge-Guilford for senior night on Tuesday in a MAC league matchup.

UV/GMU honored its senior class of 2027 prior to the game. Congratulations to Addison Marinelli, Madison Dix, Shyanne Fuller, Alex Irons, and Lexi Davis. UV/GMU celebrated its seniors with a 2-0 shutout victory.

After a scoreless first half between both teams, UV/GMU struck first with a goal by Logan Lindholm. Lindholm also scored the second goal with 11 minutes left in regulation off an assist by Addison Marinelli.

In goal, UV/GMU’s Lexi Davis made eight saves while B-G’s Saige Barnard made six saves.

Both teams were about evenly matched in shots with UV/GMU having 15 and B-G with 14.

UV/GMU hosts Afton/Harpursville on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. while B-G hosts Unatego/Franklin at the same time.
