DELHI — The Oxford Blackhawks boys’ soccer team faced off against Delhi on the road on Monday, coming away with a 3-2 victory. With the win, Oxford slides into second place in the MAC at 4-1 in the standings and 7-1 overall.

Oxford scored three goals, including two before halftime, before Delhi fought back. Goalie Gaven Dibble stood his ground and made some really great saves to hold the lead.

Paxton LaMonica, Gordon Smith, and Joey Locke each scored for Oxford with assists by LaMonica and Gavin Ives.

Oxford (7-1) heads to UV/GMU on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
