UTICA— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ soccer team took on Utica Academy of Science on Monday, where S-E came up short 2-1 against a tough 6-0 Atoms team.

Both teams were tied up at one at halftime before the Atoms went ahead with the game-winner in the second half.

S-E’s Nasick Chrisbacher scored the lone goal for the Timberwolves. Goalkeeper Hudson Schwartz-Pumilio made 10 saves in the loss.

S-E (1-8) hosts Little Falls on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
