NORWICH — The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ tennis team took on Chenango Forks on Monday afternoon, where Norwich honored its senior class prior to the match. Congratulations to Rori Gates, Finley Farrow, and Skylr Newman.

Norwich fell 6-1 to Forks with Elle Waters picking up the lone win for the Purple Tornado in three sets.

Finley Farrow went into a tiebreaker but fell to her opponent at third singles.

Coach Nikki Brooks complimented her team on being more competitive with Forks than the previous time they played them.

Norwich heads to Seton Catholic this evening at 5 p.m.
